Welcome to
G-Fresh Stringing

Where you can get Fresh Strings strung for your favourite tennis racquet

Did you know that re-stringing your racquet isn't only to replace broken strings? As a rule of thumb, you should be re-stringing your racquet as many times in a year as you play in a week i.e. if you play once a week or roughly 50 times in a year, you should re-string at least once annually (different types of strings e.g. polyester will require more frequent re-stringing due to tension loss over time). Please allow G-Fresh Stringing to be your solution to bring your racquet back to life!

Home: Welcome

Hello! Thank You for Visiting!

My name is Ferrante Gragasin, and I am offering my services for tennis racquet stringing. Located in North Edmonton, I hope to provide service for this rapidly growing sport in popularity. Please see below for some additional information.

Stringing Machine

I utilize a 6-point mount Gamma electronic constant-pull tensioner as seen here (my actual setup!), so you can be assured of accurate tensions generated for your racquet string bed.

Regular Calibration

Although an electronic tensioner is very accurate, over time errors can arise in the machine's measurements. Therefore, regular calibration with a Tennishead Precision Calibrator will ensure you have peace of mind that the input tension is indeed the applied tension to the strings.

Stringing Process

I employ a 2-piece stringing method for my racquets. Therefore, the option of a hybrid string setup is available for you.
Please note that I do not replace grommets and bumper guards (mostly because replacements for specific models can be hard to find!).

Broken Grommets

It would be ideal if you could replace your racquet's grommets with factory grommet sets and bumper guards, but like I mention, sometimes finding them can be difficult! I therefore offer repair of individual grommets by using a RAB grinder to remove the defective grommet and use teflon tubing to protect the string from potential damage from the frame (see pricing below).

Racquet Stenciling

Complete the look of your racquet re-stringing with adding a logo representing your racquet and/or strings! For an additional $1, I can add a logo using your choice of white, black, or red stencil ink. I utilize factory stencils for popular brands. Stencil patterns are available for Yonex, Wilson, Babolat, Head, Prince, Dunlop, Gamma, Volkl, and Tecnifibre.

Payment

I accept major credit cards, debit card, or contactless mobile device through Square Reader. Pay when you pick up your racquet (swipe, chip, or tap! - it's as simple as that!).

If you prefer to pay online (including with G-Pay or Apple Pay), you can use this link or the button below: https://checkout.square.site/merchant/HJRMCNMB3ZF95/checkout/TNW7U43TQ75MYOMKMKLI5UOC
